RV Following Jesus

In 2017, The Rhoads Family embarked on an extraordinary journey, embracing the adventure of full-time RV living. With a passion for travel and a heart for people, they began exploring the United States, visiting campgrounds and connecting with fellow travelers along the way. Their travels quickly became more than just a lifestyle; they became a mission. At nearly every stop, the family hosts gatherings and activities—campfire gatherings, game nights, and Bible study sessions—that create space for meaningful conversations. These gatherings are about more than fun; they’re an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with people who may never step into a church building but will gather under the stars or around a fire to talk about life, faith, and hope.

In 2023, their calling deepened when Barbara and her family became a chapter with Gathering of Nomads, a network of believers committed to building community among RV travelers. As a chapter, they continue to foster relationships, share the gospel, and encourage others in their faith journey—all while living life on the road. For the Rhoads Family this mission is simple yet profound: to love Jesus and love people. Through the connections they build, the stories they share, and the community they create, the family brings light to wherever their RV takes them, one campground at a time.
